TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
if your mouse DOESN'T work
1. check if the mouse is plugged in or if your using a USB mouse try a different USB port
2. If using windows try rebooting and see if it fixes it
3. also the ball controlling your mouse may be jammed
4. if it is an optical mouse the laser may not be clean or you need use it on a smooth surface

if windows keeps locking up on boot up
1. turn off your computer and then wait 5 minutes before turning back it on
2. shut down the computer, unplug the power cord for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn the computer back on
3. put your computer in safe mode: press and hold F8 while the computer is booting up to get to the start up selection page, then select safe mode, once safe mode fully loads shut down the computer

backup errors
1. make sure every thing being backed up is closed
2. check to see which file failed while being backed up and be sure to close it
3. try the backup again

your scanner does not work
1. make sure it is on and plugged in
2. make sure it is plugged into your computer correctly or if it is wireless make sure it is connected to the WI-FI

4. try turning the scanner off then turning it back on in ten seconds
5. shut down your entire computer system, count to ten, tun on your scanner first the the rest of your computer

nothing appears on your monitor
1. make sure the monitor and the computer are on
2. make sure the monitor is plugged in or connected correctly
3. jiggle the data connection and make sure it is connected correctly to both ends
4. check to makes sure that the brightness and contrast settings are the same a usual
5. check to see if the screen is in sleep mode, press any key(s) on the keyboard to try to turn the monitor on.
